1. How to choose a good karaoke system?

3. What is the difference of Amplifier, Karaoke Mixer and Karaoke Mixing Amplifier?
- Amplifier - This device is to increase the amplitude of electrical signal in sound reproduction. It is similar to Receiver (Home theater device), but with lower wattages (power). You need speakers to output the sound. (Noted that Amplifier has volume control for music, but no microphone ports and low )
- Karaoke Mixer - Transfer sound from microphone to Amplifier, mixer has microphone ports, music, microphone, echo/reverb volume control and used to control your outcome sounds. There are echo/reverb, delay, treble, bass, etc. on the mixer for you to manually adjust according to your needs.
- Karaoke Mixing Amplifier has Music volume control, Mic volume control, Echo/reverb volume control and Mic ports, all mixer effect knobs. can deliver the depth and dynamic of your voice to the system, so you can have nearly full control of your outcome voice. 4. What is the role of Mixer, and why do I need it?
- Mixer is used to control your microphone outcome sounds. There are echo, delay, tremble, base, key control on the mixer for you to manually adjust according to your needs. Mixer will mix your voice with your adjusted effect and deliver your sound outcome to Amplifier.
- You will need a mixer if you have a receiver (or Amplifier without any microphone port).
- If you have Mixing Amplifier, you don’t need a mixer.
5. Why there is no sound from my microphone when using HDMI output?
Noted that microphone uses Analog to transfer sound. Because AV Component/ RCA are Analog, so RCA is able to deliver your microphone sound.
HDMI is using digital to transfer sound, therefore, no microphone sound is delivered if you are using HDMI for audio output.
6. Do you have HDMI Karoake Mixing Amplifier?

7. Can I use my home theater speakers for KTV setup?
Yes, but we do not suggest you to use your home theater speakers for KTV setup. These speakers are mainly made for watching movie and listening to music. They are not made for karaoke use, so they cannot handle loud noise from microphone.
Without professional handling and carefully use, your home theater speakers can be damaged when there is sudden high pitch voice, or loud noise.
8. Why do I need karaoke speaker?
- We suggest to use Karaoke speakers instead of using home theater speakers (such as Bose, sound bar). Karaoke speakers or power amplifier speakers are made to handle higher power and more tolerate for loud sound input, or high pitched voice.
- Investing a good pair of speakers not only bringing out excellent sound quality and better performance to your parties, they will save you money in a long run because these speakers are very durable and long-lasting if you take good care of them.
9. How many speakers do I need for KTV setup?
For KTV setup, we suggest to have 1 pair of speakers placing in the front, next to the TV and higher than your ears. You can hang or place the speakers on top of the shelves. If your speaker is floor stand version, simply place it on both sides of the TV.
This arrangement will deliver better sound quality for singing. Do not add additional speakers on the back of the room because this will create mic feedback when you sing.
